Dispatch Media Group Consulting Project
Took third place out of eight groups competing in a course wide consulting project for a major media conglomerate located in Columbus, Ohio. My role as Project Manager was to lead a team of 5 throughout the semester in the execution of the entire marketing process from secondary research, primary research, data analytics, strategy formulation, creation of an implementation plan, and presentation. Our work led us to valuable insights into how to attract, engage, and monetize millennials ages 18-23, which the company can now use to help grow their business to this customer segment.
Target Corporation Case Competition
Competed in a group of five students in a Marketing Research course-wide case competition sponsored by Target Corporation. In this competition Target challenged groups to construct surveys, conduct research, and analyze results in order to make suggestions on how they as a company can better use their mobile application, Cartwheel, to better engage in-store consumers. Our group took first place in this case competition for our ability to articulate suggestions for improvement and support those suggestions by relevant data and analysis. Winners were decided upon by the course instructor and Target Corporation Executives
Mentor and Mentee Retention Project
As a Summer Intern with College Mentors for Kids, a non-profit youth mentoring organization, I had the opportunity to research our current performance in mentoring matches. I looked at statistics of how long our mentors and mentees are staying together on average, looked at potential causes, and made recommendations for future improvement.
