Within IBM Chicago, a core team was chosen by IBM leadership to lead a pro-bono consulting project the local Chicago organization, Little Heros League (LHL). Over the course of eight months, our team assessed every aspect of the organization’s website, engagement, and brand to determine how best to increase donations and donor participation.
As the team’s project developer, part of my role meant assessing website platforms to recommend which was the best path forward to account for ease of use, growth, and user experience. Portions of this research are captured below:

Once we conducted our personal research on the site, we spoke to various donors and participants on their experience with the site and the brand to develop more key insights. We used these insights to map the user experience of a donor of the site in order to establish our key user and make informed changes to the website and overall brand strategy.
Once our research came to close, our team planned and executed various changes such as a logo transformation, website design updates, better donor experience. Example of the changes are shown below:
